The Finch Group Development

The Finch Group (“TFG”), founded in Boston, MA in 1981 and relocated to Boca Raton, FL in 1997, controls a group of associated single-purpose entities, each of which handles an aspect of the development, ownership and/or management of:

• condominiums

• government assisted, affordable and/or market rate multifamily residential rental properties

• hospitality properties

• commercial properties.

Since 1981, The Finch Group has been involved in two primary businesses to which the hospitality (three hotels, 598 rooms, located on Cape Cod and Nantucket) and commercial management operations (four buildings in Boston containing 280,000 square feet) are secondary.

One of its primary businesses was residential condominium development, marketing, construction and operation. From 1981 through 1996, TFG was involved with over 10,000 condominium units ranging from affordable ($40,000) to luxury ($3,000,000, using 1996 valuation). In 1996, when TFG’s condominium division was sold, TFG was the largest operator of condominiums in New England. Today, the cumulative valuation of the properties in which The Finch Group participated exceeds $2 billion.

A significant part of TFG's success can be traced to the principals associated with its development, condominium, workout and affordable housing operations who have worked together, and relied upon each other, for years.
