Ernest J. Palazzolo

Mr. Palazzolo is currently Chief Operating Officer of The Finch Group Hotels and Resorts, Inc. He has held this position since 1993. He joined the company in 1988 as Vice President, Director of Operations. Mr. Palazzolo reports directly to Mr. Finch, Chairman of The Finch Group and his responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the strategic planning of the hospitality division of The Finch Group. Mr. Palazzolo is an active member of the management teams at the three managed properties owned by entities associated with The Finch Group.

Prior to joining The Finch Group, Mr. Palazzolo held the position of Vice President with Inn Corp Hotel Management Inc. During his five years with Inn Corp, Mr. Palazzolo held the positions of General Manager of the Sheraton in Boxboro, MA, the General Manager of the Sheraton in Mansfield MA, and Regional Manager for two properties, the Sheraton in Needham MA, and the Quality Inn in Mansfield MA. Prior to Inn Corp, he was employed by Dunfey Hotels as a Food and Beverage Director.

Mr. Palazzolo is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration. He has successfully completed training programs with Sheraton Corporation, Holiday Inn Corporation, and Best Western Corporation. He has participated in the management of properties associated with Marriott, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Choice Hotels, Ramada Inn, Howard Johnson, Days Inn, and Treadway Inn, as well as extensive experience in operating non-affiliated hospitality properties. He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee for the Hospitality Program at Cape Cod Community College.Education and Professional Associations.
