Kim Banks

Since joining The Finch Group (“TFG”) in 1988, Kim continued to gain more responsibility leading up to being named Executive Vice President of Signature Housing Solutions, Inc. in 2009.  In her various capacities, she has been involved in many facets of the business, including contract administration, direct contract supervision of capital improvement programs, mortgage originator for owner-held mortgages, property manager and accounting manager.  With 20 years of experience, her primary emphasis is in property management of affordable multi-family properties. 

In her current position as Executive V.P., Kim is responsible for the overall supervision of TFG’s property portfolio, which includes a range of luxury hotel-style apartments to affordable multi-family townhouses over multiple city blocks to convenient high-rise apartment buildings.  Kim’s portfolio includes a variety of properties financed by government-assisted programs such as Project-Based Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Section 236, and Rent Supplement.   

Her responsibilities include compliance monitoring, development and management of property-specific operating programs, resident retention and satisfaction, ongoing leasing and marketing programs, staff guidance and supervision, construction administration, energy conservation, preventive maintenance, drug and crime prevention, short and long term physical needs assessments, capital improvement program development and implementation, quality control management, physical inspections, financial budgeting and general management operations.
