Mike TroppMr. Tropp has served since 1988 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Finch Group Hotels and Resorts, Inc. His responsibilities include oversight of recording and analyzing all financial information for all TFG Hotel and Resort properties as well as participating in strategic planning with the Executive Operating Committee. Mr. Tropp’s responsibilities have included, but are not limited to, budget preparation, internal control and auditing, cost and asset management, financial planning and cost accounting, preparation of financial reports for ownership, mortgagees and tax authorities as well as balance sheet and cash flow analysis. Before joining TFG Hotel and Resorts, Inc., Mr. Tropp was employed by Inn Corp Hotel Management Company from 1979 until 1988 and held the position of Vice President and General Manger at various hotel locations. Additionally, he was employed by the Sheraton Boston Hotel where he held the positions of Food and Beverage Controller and Lounge Manager. Mr. Tropp is a graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture where he was elected to the LEAR Honorary Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts. He also is a graduate of Holiday Inn University and holds certificates in Holidex II training. While at Sheraton Corporation, he successfully completed courses in sales and marketing and food and beverage cost control. He has been a member of the Cape Cod and Hyannis Chambers of Commerce, has served on the Cape Cod Chamber Resort Committee, and the Hyannis Chamber of Commerce Task Force.
